Food Scraps Banned From Trash as of July 1
We have all had time to settle into the new State law banning food scraps from trash. According to Josh Kelly of the Department of Environmental Conservation, "... 20% of our waste is food waste. It's the largest material by type in our trash."
Why separate food scraps from trash?

A Message From the General Manager
Greetings from the Co-op. I hope everyone is well, staying healthy, wearing face coverings and doing their best to enjoy a very different summer than we could ever have expected. As we navigate through and adapt to what is becoming our new normal, I want to thank everyone for their support through these challenging times. Hearing “thank you for being here” means so much to our staff and to me personally. As I find myself approaching my four-month mark here at MOCO, I look back at all we have been through.
