A Message From the General Manager
Greetings from the Co-op. I hope everyone is well, staying healthy, wearing face coverings and doing their best to enjoy a very different summer than we could ever have expected. As we navigate through and adapt to what is becoming our new normal, I want to thank everyone for their support through these challenging times. Hearing “thank you for being here” means so much to our staff and to me personally. As I find myself approaching my four-month mark here at MOCO, I look back at all we have been through. A pandemic that is still with us, a week of being closed to regroup, an almost complete staffing change and our ongoing

I would like to thank you, our loyal customers and members, for your support during these challenging times. I understand you have choices in where you shop. That when you choose to spend your hard-earned dollars at MOCO, you do so out of the same commitment to community and in support of our local farmers and vendors that helped to create our food coop in the first place. MOCO is here to serve our community. As your local food coop, MOCO is not just another grocery store. We’re the local grocery store you can take ownership in. As the new General Manager, I’ve had the great pleasure of talking toMOCO is happy to announce that we now carry baked goods from Two Sons Bakehouse. Bill Hoag, owner, was a line cook who needed a second job.

As most of you know we emphasize healthy, organic, fresh and locally produced products. By supporting our local growers, farms and producers, we can provide quality products to consumers, while also strengthening our local economy. We strive to promote products that are naturally produced and organic products raised in an environmentally and socially responsible manner.
Along with local products, we also carry many brand names that you know and love! Today we are focusing on three specific categories that can be harder to find in other local stores; gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian.

Single Use Item Law Update
July 1st saw the Single-Use Item Law, Vermont's Act 69, which bans the use of plastic carryout bags and other single-use items from grocery stores go into effect. We are encouraging all customers to bring your reusable bags when you shop at MOCO (or any store) and
