Meet Our New General Manager
On behalf of the Board of Directors, it is my great pleasure to announce Taylor Evans has been hired as the new general manager of MOCO. Taylor has been serving as the interim general manager at MOCO since April 3. We are fortunate to have found not only the manager that we require, but also the leader that we need. We are confident that Taylor will lead MOCO with enthusiasm, innovation and community-focus.
Hiring a general manager is the single most important responsibility of a cooperative’s Board of Directors. Over the past several weeks our Search Committee participated in a diligent process which informed our search for this position and guided us to recommend Taylor as the recommended choice. Evans brings extensive experience in community involvement, service, sales and management from nearly 40 years of work history. Most recently, Evans worked in retail on Church Street and in sales at Jay Peak.
We screened and interviewed a number of candidates, narrowing the pool to final candidates whose skills, experience, and resumes were a possible match for MOCO’s needs. In the end, we unanimously selected Taylor, and look forward to supporting her success as MOCO’s continued general manager. Taylor will begin performing the duties of her new position immediately. Please stop in and introduce yourself soon!
In health and wellness,
Elly Ventura on behalf of the MoCo Board
