Keeping our Customers & Staff Safe (Updated 11/16/2020)
We are committed to the health and safety of our customers and staff and we are doing everything we can to reduce the spread of Covid-19.
We have come together during this pandemic to help and support each other. Through all of this the human spirit is alive and well.
It is important that we re-emphasize the pandemic response we implemented months ago and any new safety measures we have added.

Food safety is very important to us so our employees follow strict procedures when handling products at MOCO ranging from fresh items to packaged items. As those of you who have shopped in the store know, we installed plexiglass shields at the cash registers and we require face coverings for both employees and customers.
Hand sanitizer is provided at the store entrance/exit and at the registers, One-way aisles have been established and customers are still asked to practice social distancing while in the store. We also monitor how many customers are in the store at any given time. Deli gloves are available for customers to use while choosing fresh produce and bulk items.
We have also increased our the frequency of surface cleaning that includes wiping down carts, baskets, door handles, etc.
How We are Responding to the Most Recent Conditions
For the sake of everyone’s health, we ask the following:
- Do not come to the Co-op if you are symptomatic of COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath) or feeling otherwise unwell
- Wear a face covering that covers your mouth and nose
- Shop efficiently and solo when possible
- Maintain at least a 6 foot distance from others
The Virus and Food
Currently, there is no evidence to support the transmission of Covid-19 associated with food. There are no reported cases from food products or packaging.

Online Ordering and Curbside Pick-up
For your convenience, MOCO offers online ordering. We’ll pack up your order, give you a call when it’s ready to be picked up and you’ll pay over the phone.
Orders placed after 2pm Monday through Thursday will be available for pick up after 2pm the following day. If you order groceries after 2pm Friday, your order will be available for pick up after 2pm Monday.

Your health and safety is our number one priority during this time. That’s why MOCO offers curbside pickup. You can either pick up your order at our outside table or pop your trunk and a staff member will load your order into your vehicle for you.
IMPORTANT: We are still experiencing erratic deliveries from some of our suppliers. We could see intermittent interruptions for some time to come. Please know that we have been working with both existing and new suppliers to make sure you have access to the products you rely on. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
