RIUFC 2024/2025 Recipients

An important part of the Co-op’s mission is to strengthen our community – socially, environmentally, and economically.

One of the ways in which we support Lamoille County non-profit organizations, is through our program;

‘Round It Up for Change’.

Lamoille Community House

Dec. 31, 2024 – Jan. 31, 2025

A year-round 21-bed shelter & secure space for our neighbors to realize their own potential and discover their path toward stable housing.

Meals on Wheels of Lamoille County

Feb. 1, 2025 – March 31, 2025

Meals on Wheels strives to serve high quality and nutritious food to Lamoille County elders. Committed to buying local when possible; 10% of food budget allocated for local purchase. Funds received apply directly for food cost to help with home meal delivery.

Lamoille Community Food Share

April 1, 2025 – May 31, 2025

A non-profit food pantry that provides for members of Lamoille County that are experiencing food insecurity.

Morristown Centennial Library

June 1, 2025 – July 31, 2025

Morristown Centennial Library is the “living room” of this community. A safe place for all – cool in the summer, warm in the winter – and resources to learn, entertain, and share. Funds will support after school programs at MES as there is no funding for them this year.

River Arts

Aug. 1, 2025 – Sept. 30, 2025

A community art center located in the heart of downtown Morrisville. Serves over 5,000 people a year of all ages and abilities. Offers year-round enriching art classes, workshops, free events, and summer camps. Monies raised from this program will be used to fund the scholarship program.

Lamoille Neighbors

October 1 – 31, 2025

A non-profit organization made up of members and volunteers dedicated to enhancing the well-being of older adults by helping them continue to live in their own homes and stay in the community they choose.

Lamoille County Mental Health

November 1 – 30, 2025

Provides comprehensive mental health, developmental, behavioral, and family support services to the Lamoille Valley. Funds will be used to improve access to telehealth appointments.
