Music with Lesley Grant Band
What does it take to roast 500 ears of locally grown organic corn for a community celebration?
It takes two dedicated grills – one to roast, one to “finish” the ears, several extra large coolers, and a crew of volunteers. The corn is shucked, still warm, and placed onto a hungry eater’s plate. Yum!
Morrisville Food Co-op emphasizes healthy, organic, fresh and locally produced products. By supporting our local growers, farms and producers, the Co-op can provide quality products to consumers, while also strengthening our local economy. The Co-op strives to promote products that are naturally produced and organic products raised in an environmentally and socially responsible manner. You do not have to be a member to shop at the Co-op; all are welcome. The Co-op is located at 46 Pleasant Street in Morrisville.
The Morrisville Food Co-op’s annual free corn roast celebrates what the community has built together. We hope you’ll join us!
