An important part of the Co-op’s mission is to strengthen our community – socially, environmentally, and economically.

One of the ways in which we support Lamoille County non-profit organizations, is through our program;

‘Round It Up for Change’.

Round It Up for Change Recipient for
October 1 – November 30, 2021:

Morrisville Alliance for Commerce and Culture (MACC)

Thank you to all the Co-op shoppers who contributed to MACC. The total collected was $1957.25.

MACC is the non-profit booster of all things Morrisville, bringing projects and events to support the economic well-being and cultural creativity of Morrisville. From art installations to locally installed planters of growing vegetables for all to pick, MACC works to make Morrisville a more welcoming, beautiful, walkable and user-friendly town.

August 1 – September 30, 2021:

North Country Animal League

Thank you to all the Co-op shoppers who contributed to NCAL. The total collected was $2080.

NCAL is an animal welfare organization, located in Morrisville, dedicated to building compassionate relationships between animals and people offering a broad range of services, such as saving the lives of pets, humane education, preventing animal cruelty, spay/neuter programs, sheltering and finding loving adoptive homes for pets.

June 1 – July 31, 2021:

Healthy Lamoille Valley

Thank you to all the Co-op shoppers who contributed to Healthy Lamoille Valley. The total collected was $1843.74.

Healthy Lamoille Valley is a coalition of community organizations and individuals working collaboratively to reduce youth substance misuse and encourage youth to make substance free healthy choices. Funding from Round It Up will be used to support youth programs, including the Lamoille Area Youth Council.

April 1 – May 31, 2021:

Justice For Dogs

Thank you to all the Co-op shoppers who contributed to Justice For Dogs. The total collected was $1,782.

Justice For Dogs is an all-volunteer non-profit, dedicated to rescuing abandoned, abused or surrendered local dogs and cats and to finding successful “furever” homes for them. JFD provides many additional support services to help folks be able to keep their pets or to provide for the animal’s wellbeing.

February 1 – March 31, 2021:

Lamoille Community House (LCH)

LCH is a shelter that provides clean beds and hot meals to people in our community experiencing homelessness. With kindness and dignity, LCH offers guests hope, security and connection to community. Their intent in 2021 is to move from a seasonal shelter to a year-round model and increase staff capacity to coordinate housing reentry and move towards ending homelessness in Lamoille County.

December 1, 2020 – January 31, 2021:

River Arts

Thank you to all the Co-op shoppers who contributed to River Arts. The total collected was $1243.

River Arts is a community art center offering camps, classes, workshops and other special events.  Funds from Round It Up For Change will be used for scholarships to ensure that any child, regardless of financial means is able to participate in programs. North Central Vermont Recovery Center

Salvation Farms

Lamoille Restorative Center

Thank you to all the Co-op shoppers who contributed to Lamoille Restorative Center. The total collected was $1124.27.

Lamoille Restorative Center provides prevention and restorative services to individuals with challenging life situations, including severe mental health needs, substance abuse issues and difficult family and interpersonal dynamics. Lamoille Community Food Share

Thank you to all the Co-op shoppers who contributed to the Lamoille Community Food Share. The total collected was $1067.81.

Lamoille Community Food Share provides supplemental food, free of charge, in a supportive environment, to individuals and families struggling with food security in the Lamoille community.

Clarina Howard Nichols Center
